Charlie Greenwood

Charlie trained as a furniture maker at UTAS completing the “Design in Wood” course in 1991. He then went on to undertaking commissions and small scale production from a rented workshop in Salamanca Place for 2 years and in Melbourne for 3 years in a workshop in Flinders Lane, surrounded by designer makers of all types.

Returning to Hobart in 1997 resulted in opportunities to practice woodworking skills within the building industry, and achieving a Trade Certificate as a Carpenter/Joiner. After several years of employment with a small family business and then a larger firm, Charlie was employed by in2Construction in 2009 as a Foreman.

In 2021 Charlie was promoted to Estimating Manager and in 2022 to Project Manager.
