A historic building converted to a dental surgery required compliance with heritage as well as medical, building, signage and traffic regulations. Interiors provide client comfort and professional convenience. Walls between surgeries and other rooms were lead lined. Specialised plumbing, electrical and other fittings required for medical practice were installed. A calming natural light filters through the architectural canopy sheltering clients as they enter. New external finishes harmonise with this historic area of Hobart.
