South Hobart House

Now standing among mature trees, this house was built in 1928. Decades later it needed enlarging and upgrading, but not restyling. Preserving its integrity, an extension was added to the house. Its modern kitchen, living and dining areas are bright with light that floods in through huge windows, which cantilever out over the garden. An in-ground pool lies in the sunshine, surrounded by spotted-gum decking.
