Tranmere House

This riverside house is compact and warm. With thermal mass elements, a northern orientation and ‘super insulated’ skin, it exemplifies environmentally sustainable architecture. Structural blockwork is exposed internally. All windows are double glazed and the roof has an R 5.1 rating. Walls and floors are fully insulated. In2Construction’s familiarity with the architect’s methods was crucial; the design required meticulous setting out and detailing.
