The living wing of this house turns 45 degrees from the sleeping wing: two generous bedrooms, the laundry and WC. The bathroom occupies the intersection of the wings. Tasmanian oak window reveals, hoop pine cupboards and shiplap-clad walls contrast with the aluminium windows, exterior Colorbond® walls and ultra-modern bathroom and kitchen. Double-glazed windows and burnished concrete floors over hydronic in-slab heating achieve an energy rating of 8.5.
